Kansas - Dust in the Wind
1970년 결성한 캔사스는 클래식을 전공한 로비 스타인하트(Robby Steinhardt, 바이올린) 영입하면서, 71년 밴드 이름을 화이트 클로버 (White Clover)로 바꾸었다가,1972년 스티브 월쉬(Steve Walsh, 보컬·키보드)리차드 윌리암스(Richard Wiliams, 기타) 가입하면서 다시 캔사스라는 이름으로 되돌아왔다.
Carry On Wayward Son'의 스매쉬 히트에 힘입어 앨범을 차트 5위로 진입시키며 3백 만장 이상의 앨범 판매를 기록 Dust in the Wind'의 대 히트로 플래티넘을 기록하며 수퍼 밴드의 자리에 등극하게 되었다.
철학적인 가사와 친숙한 어쿠스틱 연주 1970년대에 발표된 곡이지만 오랫동안 한국인 가슴에 남아 있는 그룹 캔사스의 명반과 명곡으로 남아있다.
