오늘날 유럽에서 가장 빼어난 여가수로 벌써 20년 이상 스타덤을 차지하고 있는 비키는 이탈리아 출신으로 "유로비전의 영원한 별" 이라는 수식어가 늘 따라 다닌다.

1967년 유로비전에서 노래한 4위의 입상곡 L'amour est bleu (Love is Blue)를 불렀는데 이듬해에 프랑스의 폴 모리아가 이 곡을 특유의 화려하고 유연성 있는 현악 사운드와 경쾌한 로크 비트를 가미해 생동감이 넘치도록 편곡하여 발표했다.

폴 모리아는 이 곡으로 말미암아 빌보드 차트 1위를 한 유일무이한 프랑스 아티스트가 되었고 비키역시 세계적으로 그이름을 알리게 되었다.
